Pick Me, Suzanne, pick meeeeee....

This has not been a particularly lucky week for me so I'm hoping to turn that all around by winning Suzanne Earley's grandmother's quilt. Winning that heart quilt would brighten anybody's day and be the best Valentine's Day gift in over a decade.

The quilt is made of Valentine blocks all quilted differently by Suzanne. Here is a photo of the ribbon heart border.

Ok, so one of my favorite hangouts is Machine Quilter's Resource. This is Suzanne's web-site forum for quilters. Most of the quilters are professional but all are welcome. It is free to sign up or you can opt in for the premium membership and get some fabulous quilting video.

More photos can be found on Suzanne's Flickr site.

I need to hang out at MQR more but I run out of steam before I do all the things I need to do each day. Good luck on winning that quilt! It's beautiful, as is everything Suzanne does!

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
