I want that job

I just recieved my first order of Aurifil thread. I've been wanting to try this thread for a while. When I found it on Red Rock Threads, I had to order it.

My criteria for buying these particular 1422 yd spools was the name of the thread. Yeah, I used to buy wine because I liked the bottle, too. So the thread had these wonderful names. I would love to have that job. Who wouldn't want to be the person who thinks up the names for thread. Sometimes the names are like the color, sometimes it evokes a feeling or a memory. I want to have that job.

Left to right back row: Dusty Moss, Bronze, and Muddy Blue
Front row: Desert Cactus, Azalea and Peapod Green

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
