Flower Power

I love this orange flowered batik. I used Dragon Lady's Florentine pattern for the blocks. But I added the colorful sashing.
The quilting was done with
-- Hartley Fence in the blocks
-- Cornerstone flowers I learned in Pam Clarke's class
-- The prickly-pod looking things I learned in a Nichole Webb class.

-- I used a Jody Beamish panto named Starburst on the borders.
I plan to bind it in blue.

Bright but exciting to see completed.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
