Sewing Panel for friend

Cathy made this small quilt for her friend Sally. These two are long-time pals. My DH and I eat breakfast on week-ends at the same place that Cathy and Sally (and sometimes family) go. It is fun to sit across the restaurant from them on Saturday mornings nad listen to the laughter. They are definitely at the fun table.

Isn't this panel the cutest, all about sewing. I quilted around outline of the figures.

Cathy's Take 5

I love the fabrics in this quilt. The shades of purple, burgundy, browns and beiges seem to just melt together. The pattern is a Take 5, very basic.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
