Sunset Motorcycle

Cathy made this quilt using The Creative Iron Fusible Fabric Art. It is a laser cut fusible applique. Cathy wanted lots of quilting on the motorcycle so it would not come loose. I tried to make it look like the motorcycle was in motion.

I put in some desert accents like Saguaro cactus, sagebrush and hills, flying eagles in the corners of the border, a big sun in the right corner. I used Quilter's Dream Puff batting and King Tut thread #912 named St. George which has variegated gold, rust, orange and yellow.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
