Sally's 12 Rows of Christmas

Sally made a quilt modeled after the 12 Days of Christmas. This one, however, is called the 12 Rows of Christmas. I treid to pu some of the background quilting styles that I learned at MQS in the rows in addition to the echo around the applique. The rows and quilting are comprised of:
1 Santa and a Christmas tree with ghost trees branches stitched in
2 Candy Cane wrapped up in ribbon with cross-hatching
3 Snowman with swirls
4 Gifts with stittple
5 Angels with flowing lines
6 Friendship Stars with Continuous Curve
7 Log Cabins with swirls
8 Reindeers with stipple
9 Holly leaves with loops
10 Hard candy pieces with loops
11 String of Christmas lights with cord quilted
12 Stocking with holly leaves
I put freemotion Christmas bells, bulbs, candy canes and double piano keys in the borders. I had to fight with the homespun sections as it stretched out.

Sally loved how I quilted it. And I love a happy customer.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
