Turquoise Tulips

Tulip Festival by Hermione Agee from Willowleaf Studio is the panto that
Lori chose. I used Bright Turquoise from PermaCore thread and APQS
Turquoise prewound bobbin. It quilted up nicely.

It was impossible to get a close-up of the panto pattern because the FairyFrost fabric refelected my flash. So I altered the photo by making it a negative image. Of course, now it looks like it is orange instead of the rich shades of turquoise that Lori used. It was a delight to quilt.

The tulip border is from a stencil by StenSource.

I love the work! Where do you typically buy your thread? Online or locally? I just found a new online source for permacore thread. They have like 400+ colors.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
