Janean's Log Cabin Quilt

This kingsize quilt is done in blues, creams and reds. The back is a cream wide back. Janean wanted me to use Navy blue thread. I was afraid of the starts and stops of navy blue thread on the cream backing fabric. Our compromise was to use blue PermaCore thread on the front and a Superior prewound cream-color thread on the back.

The quilt's three borders were handled separately using stencils. She requested Popcorn LG pantograph by Jodi Beamish for Willow Leaf Studio.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
