Jody's Lasagna quilt

Jody made a beautiful lasagna quilt using the April Cornell collection from Moda. She bought Dave Hudson's Sunflower (2003) pattern. The pattern even has arrows on it indicating the direction of the pattern. That's pretty cool. I used Superior Highlights High sheen trilobal Polyester in Beige on the front and superbobs in natural white in the bobbin. It was my first time using highlights. Once I got my tension figured out it was smooth sailing. Jody was pleased with the quilt.

I liked this quilt when you posted it on APQS forum - but I don't know how to post a comment there. I think your quilting was perfect for this pattern. And, I've never thought of doing a lasagna quilt from a fabric line - that is a good idea too! I'm enjoying your blog!

Cheers!

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
