Betty's son is a surfer and she loves to make quilts for him. In this quilt, Betty combined some wonderful surfing safari fabric with teals and rust to make a handsome quilt for her son. She found some wonderful batik with all the rust and greens that she needed to tie this up into a beautiful package. It is a king size 101" by 102". The backing is a pieced green batik. I used several different threads. The batik triangles were Superior King Tut Bulrushes.

The entire quilt is done with my IQ (except the SID and that is mine). I used
Wave_Splash from Legacy Quilting in the border. The sashing in the green is Darlene Epp's Budding Ferns sashing. The top and bottom black borders are stretched Budding Ferns and the side black borders are random straight lines done as a line pattern. The rays in the setting and corner triangles are Legacy Quilting Radiating File 5 Triangle.

The blocks have quilting designs that are just about impossible to see. They are Sea Shells and Surfing USA from Legacy Quilting.

Linda, Your quilting on the surfing quilt is wonderful. When you say it is mostly IQ does that mean that it is all driven by a computer program that you chose the design from? It is really neat to see all the different designs in one quilt. Really nice.
