Thrift Shop Finds

I went to the local thrift shop today. Take a look at my finds.

See the big black travel bag that fits onto a rolling suitcase. This handy little bag was my big expense at $1.49. Yup, great buy.

I found a wonderful mug for my morning coffee. That orange mug will certainly brighten my day. See those sweet white cups with crosshatch and tiny little blue flowers. There is also a small pink rose near the handle. They have the look of home-made, hand-thrown on a wheel.

There is also a small Royal Schwabap teacup with a dutch boy and girl sitting in a barrel. My plan for the teacup is to become a pin cushion. I saw the idea on the Ivory Spring blog.

And the apothecary jar will get a new life as storage for my scissors and seam-rippers to protect the little fingers of my curious granchildren from seeing the tools.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
