Rowentas and Goldilocks

I had an exciting day yesterday. I cleaned my irons. Vinegar is bad enough but when it gets hot, phew.

I use Papa Rowenta for pressing quilt backings and tops. It gets a workout and has not given me any trouble for 3 years. I love this iron. There was some serious calcium build-up in Papa. Mama Rowenta is for piecing. I press as I go - it helps tame the wonkiness. Baby Rowenta is just for applique work.

Once the inside was clean, I tackled the outside. I used CLR to get the calcium sludge that came out of the irons.

Now look at them, standing so proudly, clean as a whistle. Goldilocks likes her 3 Rowentas.

Yeah, I need to get out more.

You are so funny ! Expect your package Mon or Tues. Glenda

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
