Sherry's Emerald Beauty

Sherry made this for her brother. I love the greens that she used. It looks like marble with gold coursing through it. The pattern is a Take 5 and I quilted the center freehand feathers. The inner border is favorite motif. It is Carla Barrett's circle-hook-fern feather motif. I love it and so does every body else.

I used Quilter's Dream select cotton, Superior So Fine #424 Cholocate in the bobbin, So FIne #516 Gondola Gold on the top and outer border and the yummy green is from Isacord.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
