Think it will rain....

Look at those thunderheads just over the hill from my house. My hairdresser was so excited this morning. "We're going to have a thunderstorm today. Flash flood warnings, too. I'm so excited".

Shoot. I would have been excited, too, if I thought there was a prayer of having a thunderstorm. Hey, this is southerna California, not Kansas. We don't get that kind of weather. But she was so certain that we would get a storm, that she brought her umbrella to work. Oh, way to jinx the whole thing.

In that first photo, you can see the helicopter cruising by checking it out. Maybe the pilot of the helicopter has the same hairdresser that I do.

So how much rain will be get. Probably just enough to goo up the windows but not turn on the wipers. We need some rain.

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
