WIP Wednesday: Mountains Log Cabin

I have been working on this one a few days. It is 97 x 109 and she pencilled in scallops. I still have 3 more rows to go but I am making progress. I got some great design ideas from the quilters at MQR.

Thank you for all the ideas. I love Machine Quilters Resource for that reason. It is mostly for professional quilters. There is so much talent willing to help a with design ideas..

Deb suggested:

-swag borders with beadboard....done

-a rose between the swags and the ditched borders.....done

Gayle suggested:

- diagonal lines through the dark mountain side of the block in red thread....done

- feather swags nestled next to the mountains in pinks....done

That is beautiful! Can we see a picture of the entire quilt when you are done? Please?

Linda! you have done a fantastic job quilting this quilt. Bravo!

My life has changed in the last couple of years - some bumps, I retired from quilting, and then I moved to Texas. I'm anxious to see what new adventures await me in the next phase of my life.
